But I’m not a serious person all the time.

I’m Asfia Bint Abdullah, an Amazon bestselling author who writes about weighty subjects and laughs at the wrong moments in between. My work centres on Islamic heritage, valour, and the values that shaped our civilisation- justice, mercy, courage, and resilience. Big themes, yes, but told in a way that reaches the heart, not just the mind.

I’m not all heavy books and footnotes. I love flowers, gardens, and roses. I enjoy silence, good questions, and humour that arrives unexpectedly. I can spend hours researching a single historical detail and then feel just as content watching plants grow. Both feel sacred to me. I laugh more than people expect from someone who writes about serious things.
